RV Sites – fully serviced

These are not drive through sites. There is limited space for manoeuvring.
The total length of a motor home or trailer must be less than 26 ft.
The total length of a vehicle and trailer must be less than 40 ft.

The actual price may be more or less depending on the exact dates, # of guests, length of stay, weekday/weekend, whether you choose a refundable rate, and whether any extra services or pet fees apply. To get an exact price and detailed breakdown, continue through the booking process and enter the exact dates, and the number of adults, kids (<10 years old) and pets . If there are more than 2 adults, check the box for an extra guest(s). If your group is larger than 5 guests, you will need to book 2 sites.

RV Site 1 is immediately east of the Community Building and RV Site 5 is immediately east of the guest house. An RV site will be assigned automatically during booking. If RV Site 1 is available, it will be assigned automatically first. If you prefer RV Site 5 let me know in a note during booking and I will arrange for you to have that site.

These RV sites have access to the following amenities.

  • either 15A or 30A electrical service
  • fire pits (click on the firewood checkbox during booking or bring your own firewood), conditions vary and the owner reserves the right to implement a fire ban at any time.

If you wish to bring a pet please read and understand our pet policy which is part of the Terms and Conditions. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to bring a pet, what type of pet it is and add the pet service fee for each pet to your booking by checking the appropriate box(es) for pets under additional services. We reserve the right to not accept certain pets and in particular we are not accepting guard dogs breeds of any kind including but not limited to German Shepard, Doberman, Rottweiler, Bull Mastiff, Schnauzer, Boxer, Bull Terrier, etc.

Our wastewater treatment system is not designed for any RV chemicals, so we require that you empty your wastewater tanks before you come. After your tank is emptied, you can use our system. Detached studio

This is a detached,heated and furnished 500 sq. ft. timber frame open studio space. It will return to being a shared community kitchen after April 15, when the campground opens. There is a double futon and a queen sized foam mattress, bedding is available for an extra fee or you can bring your own. There is a full kitchen with basic kitchen amenities, wood stove, firewood, washer and dryer, and a hot shower with good pressure. There is WiFi, and power, but there is no TV or cell phone service.

There is an option to rent an extra hut with for extra guests. There is one with a queen sized bed and one with bunk beds. These are shown as other listings on the Accommodations page.

Fires are allowed in the wood stove or in the designated fire pits. Bundles of firewood are available for an additional fee, or you can bring your own.

The driveway and parking areas are plowed within a reasonable amount of time after a significant snowfall, but they are not perfectly clear all the time. As such, snow tires are highly recommended to get up the driveway.

Watch for deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and eagles. Listen to the rover, trees, birds, frogs, and maybe an owl.

All sites have essentially level spots for car camping. Tent Sites 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 have space for 2 tents as well as parking.

  • electricity (not at the site)

RV Site 3 – fully serviced

This RV Site has WIFI, 15A or 30A power, water and a septic hook up at the site. This is not a drive through site. Trailers must be less than 28 ft long as it is here is limited space for manoeuvring. You can find the location on this campground map.

There is a free sani-dump at the Castlegar visitor centre and a here is a link to Sani Dumps Nearby. Ours is not a sani-dump and our system is not designed for any RV chemicals, so please empty your wastewater tanks before you come. You can use our system when you are hooked to our water.

  • either 15A or 30A electrical service (RV Site 4 only has 15A service)
  • fire pits (click on the firewood checkbox during booking or bring your own firewood), conditions vary and the owner reserves the right to implement a fire ban at any time.

  • a rain shelter with a couple of picnic tables
  • parking for one additional vehicle in addition to the RV

Hut with Queen Bed

This is a basic unfinished and un-insulated hut with power, a light, electricity a queen sized foam mattress with bedding, pillows, sheets, blankets and towels. There is also a single mattress on the upper bunk which can also have pillows sheets and blankets for an extra charge (check the appropriate box during booking). There are rubber-maid bins for storage, a small table, a light and a fan. This hut can get fairly hot between 12 and 5 pm on sunny days.

Tree Hut with Queen Bed

There is a queen sized bed with bedding and a small desk in a heated, insulated and finished 8′ x 10′ wooden hut. The hut is built on poles with a deck that wraps around a tree.

No kids or dogs allowed. The shared Community Building and kitchen is closed Oct-April, but a bathroom and shower are available all year round.

Fires are allowed as long as we do not issue no fire ban, in designated fire pits only. Bundles of firewood are available for an additional fee, or you can bring your own.

Hut with bunk beds

This is a small insulated and finished private hut with bunk beds. Each bunk bed has a single mattress with bedding. A third guest and extra single mattress are options. Check the boxes for an extra guest, an extra mattress and extra set of bedding when booking as appropriate.

If there are less people the price will be less. If there are more than 2 adults, check the box for extra guest(s). If there are more than 3 people in your group, you will need to book a tent site as well. The shared Community Building and kitchen is closed Oct-April, but a bathroom and shower are available all year round.

Private Room with King Bed

This private room with a king sized bed is a big bright room with windows on the north and south walls. This room has an en-suite bathroom.

This room is on the second floor of the guest house. There is a desk with internet. The king sized bed really lights up during the day because of the large windows on the north and south walls. This room has a private half-bathroom that is the entrance to the room.

Private Room with Queen Bed

This room is on the second floor of the guesthouse and has a private balcony and a small desk with internet. This room is south facing and has stunning mountain and moon views. Frog Peak and the trees along the ridge of the mountain light up with a golden glow first thing in the morning. The room is all wood with custom wood windows and custom drawers built into the room. It is usually very quiet. The room is above the living room and is generally kept warm by the wood stove alone, but there is also a baseboard heater. Enjoy the silence, sky, trees, stars, and moon.
